success at the Rat's Hole Show 2005 for Peter-Penz-Originals!
Peter Penzenstadler of Penz Custombikes, most
successful and international renowned austrian
Customizer and frame specialist with a worldwide
reputatio scored a surprising and stunning success
at this years prestigious "International
Biker Build-Off" at the Rats Hole Chopper
Custom Show 2005 against toughest competition.
Peter Penzenstadler, well known in the US-Customscene
too - was invited to Daytona by Show-organiser
Ted Smith, son of the legendary Karl "Big
Daddy Rat" Smith, to compete in the new contest,
held for the first time in 2004. The Lining up
some real hot competitors, belgian Custom-Pro
Alain Lee of "Gangsta Choppers" introduced
his hot new Chopper creation, featuring glas-made
gas- and oiltank plus glas-made Panheads which
are illuminated from the inside! Completing the
Trio was german salesmen and custombike designer
Wolfgang Knitterscheid showing his still spectacular
"Triangular". In face of this competition,
Penzenstadler - despite his immaculate clean build
Lowrider "Relaxed Athmosphere" didn't
see much of a chance, especially knowing that
the Chopper-Craze is still running high in the
US.
More than 10.000 viditors, crowding the legendary
"Rats Hole Chopper Custom Show" on Saturday
of Daytona BikeWeek for looking at the more than
300 Top-custombikes to be judged by a highly specialised
Jury, decided the outcome in a different way:
At the "Biker Build-Off", the visitors
were the judges - and a huge majority voted for
the immaculate Custom creation from austria, which
is more or less a stock Penz Custom: Low, elegant
and perfect in style and performance. Saturday
3.30 p.m.the time was come: Since Peter saw his
chances in "relaxed Athmosphere" pretty
low, the vote hit him like a hammer. His face
and the accompanying square dance on stage was
proof of that! Chief Judge Tony Masaro and Rats
Hole Chopper Custom Show organiser Ted Smith congratulated
the austrian Winner along with his competitors
Alain Lee and Wolfgang Knitterscheid.
